“Mr. Mayor! Mr. Mayor!” Horton called. “Mr. Mayor!

You’ve got to prove now that you really are there!

So call a big meeting. Get everyone out.

Make every Who holler! Make every Who shout!

Make every Who scream! If you don’t, every Who

Is going to end up in a Beezle-Nut stew!”

And, down on the dust speck, the scared little Mayor

Quick called a big meeting in Who-ville Town Square.

And his people cried loudly. They cried out in fear:

We are here! We are here! We are here! We are here!

In the jungle of private industry, the MPC community is small. There are roughly 10,000 MPC businesses in the United States. As just a comparative, there are more than 12,000 McDonald’s in the U.S. Very few MPC locations make over 1 million gross in a year.

The Post Office believed it could institute new services, that when coupled with unfair regulations, would give them an overwhelming competitive advantage. The Post Office believed it could steal our customers and no one would notice. We will make our case before the public, congress and the PRC. We will show how we run our business and the benefits we provide. We will show the unfair regulations the Post Office has placed upon us to try and drive us out. We will show how the Post Office has targeted our customers and tried to steal them away.

We will stand on our chairs and proclaim We are Here!
